My Views On Religion and Religion

In my opinion religion and school should never in anyway be put together. Everyone has the right to their own religion and beleifs and a school should not be allowed to teach or influence anyone's religion. Our country is based on rights and if the school system is allowed to infringe those rights then our founding fathers made the constitution for nothing. In this essay I will show how the teaching of religion in school is disrespectful, unfair and unconstitutional.
Imagine you are in school trying to learn about our country's history and the teachers starts to talk and teach you about how the christian religion is right. You are a Bhuddist and belive in Bhudda and feel as if the teacher is not being fair to you. Should someone have to sit in class and be told their religion is wrong and that they should beleive that religion? Should anyone have to face disrespect like that? No one should be told that their way of life and their faith is wrong that is a very wrong and disrespectful. We all need to learn how to put ourselves in someone else's shoes or position.
Religion is a choice and privilage and should not be forced on anyone. It is not fair to only depict one type of faith or one side of an opinion. It also isn't fair for someone to go to school and have people say your religion is wrong and our's is right. Religion isn't a one sided subject, it has many varities and types and can't be taught fully. Nobody can learn or teach every type of religion so it is in no way fair to anyone to only teach one type of religion.
Finally our constitution was made and based upon the idea of freedom in every way. The constitution gives us the right to practice any religion we please and beleive in any religion we wish. If our country was built on the simple base of freedom then why would our schools want to take that away? Our schools are run by the government and the government follows the constitution. If our schools teach religion then they are taking away anyone's right who doesn't follow the religion being taught. It is pretty obvious how and why religion being taught in school is unconstitutional. As i said before evryone needs to learn how to put themselves in someone else's shoes and try and see everyone's views.
