Empire Of The Sun Review

Hello there everyone.Well today I will be writing my review on the movie "Empire Of The Sun".This movie was funny,sad,action packed and just kept my focus.My class and I watched this movie in my English class and the movie was so good I started to complain when people started to talk.That is how good that movie was and just plain awesome.
The movie was very sad. James was a very interesting character.He suffered both physical, emotional and mental damage yet he never cried.The only time he ever cried was when he realized he couldn't remember his parents and what they looked like.This in my opinion was the saddest part of the movie.James also had a friend or who he thought was a friend.Basie was James' supposed best friend.Basie did take care of James for awhile and taught him a lot.Even though Basie taught James a lot he never gave him any type of love and put him through a lot.James had to see Basie beaten down and almost killed because of his actions.James had to make sure he survived physically, but never protected himself emotionally or mentally.
As sad as this movie was it was hilarious in its' own little way.James was rich and very spoiled.He made his servant do whatever he wanted and constantly disobeyed her.Not once did he ever think his servant would ever hit or talk back to him.After the attack he was smacked across his face by the same servant he ordered and disrespected.James also had a very weird obsession with planes and was in love with the P-51.At the end of the movie the P-51 was attacking the Japanese base and James was yelling over and over P-51 CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY,CADILLAC OF THE SKY.It was funny trust me.
Empire of the Sun had a lot of action.There were constant beatings and fights, There was also a lot of bombings and a lot of people dying. It was sweet.The Japanese were brutal and the planes just continually caused unimaginable fires and destruction.So the movia had everything you could want in a movie.
As you see this movie was very good and had an awesome story line.I personally loved it and it is a movie worth watching.This movie was great it wasn't like the best movie made, but it was still very good and worth watching it.So check it out.
